Coach's Corner - In the News |

July 2007 - Summer Newsletter
The 2007 football season
is already upon us, with summer
workouts, camps, and 7 on
7 tournaments just around
the corner. As we look forward
to this new season I would
like to share with you the
new motto/slogan for this
season: 'Demand More, Expect
Results'
The slogan for this season
is really quiet simple. If
we want to take our football
program to the next level
and continue to improve in
the wins and losses column
we much demand more from our
student-athletes, and in return
expect great results. Throughout
the winter and spring I have
talked with our kids about
setting goals, working hard
to achieve them, and expecting
the results that you want-
no matter what you have to
do to achieve them. The bottom
line is that we much begin
to make major sacrifices on
and off the field if we are
expecting great results.
I truly believe that the
next several years can be
a turning point in our program's
on-field success- but only
if we require our players
to go above and beyond what
they believe is possible.
As most of us know, the human
mind has perceived limits
of what it believes it can
achieve on its own. The only
way to go past this point
for most of us is to be pushed
by others and demanded to
do things that we have not
been asked to do before. I
fell that if we demand greatness
from our players- they will
respond and we can expect
great results!!
