November 1st, 2009 - Yes, yes ... I know ... but the past few weeks have been kinda hectic. ;) I have FINALLY posted several games including Varsity contests against Jacksonville, Springfield, and Waterloo as well as Freshman and Sophomore games against Springfield.

October 4th, 2009 - My apologies to everyone for the delay in getting last week's pictures posted out here. I finally was able to get through everything and posted updates for the Chatham matchups for Varsity, Sophomore, and Freshman contents as well as some pictures from recent 6th grade and 8th grade contents. Welcome to the LincolnFootball.com Clubhouse providing information, articles, and photographs for the outstanding sport of football for the Lincoln, IL area. This site has been developed to help area football fans share in the excitement and support of the various tackle football programs provided within Lincoln including the Youth program for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 8th grades this fall and the Lincoln Community High School Football program.
As a former IHSA football official and subsequently the parent of a young man who participated in both the Youth and LCHS programs here in Lincoln, I found the best seat in the house is most definitely up close ... where you can see the intensity in these young mens' eyes ... feel their rush of making that hit ... making that catch. Nothing like that little chill you get during the anthem when you feel their excitement on the field when they realize they finally get to put their hard work to use and challenge their limits on center stage. That desire to stay close to the action has resulted in the creation of this site.
As in years past I intend on providing photo coverage of all LCHS Varsity contents both home and away. In addition, I am hoping to provide more quality photo coverage of all LCHS Freshmen and Sophomore home contents as well as a much expanded coverage of the Lincoln Youth football program. As always, I encourage the support and participation in this site and willingly accept any content in the way of articles, pictures, or general comments you would like to share. I look forward to seeing everyone come out and support the area football programs again this season!! If unable to attend in person, for LCHS Varsity live game audio and tape delay video coverage, I encourage you to check out CITV5.com for their station's Fall schedule. |
